
2009-2010 Musical Audition Information
Mad Cow Theatre is holding general musical auditions by appointment only for a series of 2010 productions including
My Fair Lady,
The Cradle Will Rock and two Concert Opera collaborations with
The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Carmen and Porgy and Bess. Christopher Wilkins, conducting, with Alan Bruun, creative direction. Performance dates are available on Mad Cow’s website. Auditions are November 6 – 8, 2009 in Orlando, FL.
We are looking for strong professional singers, ages 16 and over for both principal and chorus roles.
Mad Cow is seeking a diverse company of performers and is committed to equal opportunity employment and a flexible, non-traditional casting policy. African-American singers are strongly encouraged to audition.
All roles, including principals and chorus are open, except for the following:
Carmen: Carmen, Don Jose, Escamillo
Porgy & Bess: Porgy, Bess, Crown, Serena
Callbacks for each project will be scheduled during the weekend of November 20 – 22, 2009.
Please prepare two contrasting songs or arias and bring a picture and resume. An accompanist will be provided. Audition appointments will be scheduled Friday, November 6, Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8 at The
Lowndes Shakespeare Center 812 East Rollins Street Orlando, Florida 32803, in Loch Haven Park.

Mad Cow announces a Theatre Tech Fair
Saturday, October 31 and Tuesday, November 3 to staff the remaining shows in its 09-10 Season and to build the resource pool for future productions.

All show positions are contracted on a per show basis and paid a fee.
Mad Cow Theatre continually seeks to add talent to our "over hire" roster including:
Electricians
Carpenters
Painters
Stitchers
Venue Techs who are experienced board ops with well rounded tech skills
Most of these positions are called for and paid on an hourly basis.
